The talented Dutch jazz pianist Peter Beets uses Chopin melodies as a basis for jazz improvisations. He teams with three prominent New York's jazzmen, guitarist Joe Cohn, bassist Reuben Rogers and drummer Greg Hutchinson and offers one hour of pure bebop delight. Peter declares: "Chopin was in fact composing tunes ideal for bebop, although he couldn't have known it at the time". Superb album for all Jazz-Classical fusion's lovers. Enjoy.
