On the night of April 16th 2005, three outstanding jazz musicians, Peter Beets (grand piano), Frans Van Geest (double bass) and Gijs Dijkhuizen (drums), performed at the soldout Amsterdam Concertgebouw with its beautiful acoustics, in front of an enthousiastic audience. The unique event that took place was recorded and mixed in a very feeling way by one of Europe's leading sound engineers, Tijmen Zinkhaan. This recording shows the culmination of the musical ability of the individual musicians, and at the same time the pinnacle of trio performance as a whole.
