“ | Compilation album with twelve of the best hits of the trombonist, vocalist and band director Walter Gerhardt Hunt (Ohio, 1907-1979), aka 'Pee Wee' Hunt. At 17 he was already playing the banjo in local bands, but later changed it to the trombone. In 1929 he joined the musician Glen Gray in Detroit and founded the band that later became the renowned Casa Loma Orchestra, with whom he spent 14 years. After World War II he returned to the music scene by creating his own band, specializing in diixieland. The short repertoire of this album features their line of music dedicated to dixieland and swing with some blues. | ” |
