Fifth album released by the American trumpeter Ernest Harold Bailey (Ohio, 1925-2005), aka Benny Bailey, of the 19 he recorded under his own name (although did many collaborations). Bailey began his musical training with piano and flute and eventually dedicated to the trumpet, with which he developed his jazz career, especially with the bebop and hard bop. Bailey was an extroverted musician, away from the conventional clichés and highly expressive. His long stay in Europe detract fame in his country, but instead gave him a lot more work. This album brings together the original recording with 12 classics of international popular folklore, along with other seven additional tracks, always in swing style, of which the last two also accompanied by the American trumpeter Howard McGhee, the 'fast fingers man' and the high notes.
