Franco Ambrosetti is probably the best and most well known Italian trumpeter (other than Enrico Rava) and though a sought after sideman during the great Italian 60's he is still going strong today.This LP is as good a representation of that 60's scene (the most famous exemplars being the Basso Valadambrini Band.This was recorded in 1965 on the Durium label and re-released on Right Tempo in 1996.
