Chris Bennett - Sail Away: The Tahiti Sessions (2010)

Sail Away: The Tahiti Sessions is Chris Bennett's 11th studio CD. A Grammy nominated singer/songwriter for her work on midnight exspress, Chris Bennett is an interationally known jazz singer with a mesmerizing sound and a great pianist as well. This CD was recorded on the island of Tahiti with local artists Armando Castagnoli on sax, Felix Vilchez on bass and piano, and Ariel Cruz on percussion. The beautiful live strings, arranged by Eric Doney, were added in New York where the CD was mixed by Laurent Crosasso.
