Born Sam Moore in 1939, Ironing Board Sam is one of the unsung heroes of the American Rhythm and Blues scène. Recently, Tim Duffy, head of the Music Maker Foundation put him back on the saddle, and made him record again a double album : one cut with horns in the spirit of the great sixties, the other one just piano solo. Cherry on the cake : 10 old 45s cut between 1968 and 1970.
