Another remarkable album with Max Roach. After the tragic death of Clifford Brown in 1956, Max recorded this album at September 1958, with a "New Quintet" introducing the young promising trumpeter Booker Little and the outstanding tenorman George Coleman. He uses a tuba (3rd horn) and a bass. The genius of Max Roach, managed to record another jazz masterpiece without piano or guitar. One in a million. Enjoy.
